BRS RELEASE OF BULUKUMBA CPI DEVELOPMENTS IN DECEMBER 2025

In December 2025, Bulukumba experienced year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation of 2.74 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.52.
Y-o-y inflation occurred due to price increases, as indicated by increases in ten expenditure group indices: food, beverages, and tobacco (3.84 percent); housing, water, electricity, and household fuels (0.19 percent); household supplies, equipment, and routine maintenance (1.51 percent); health (1.63 percent); transportation (0.85 percent); information, communication, and financial services (0.03 percent); recreation, sports, and culture (0.27 percent); education (2.53 percent); food and beverage/restaurants (1.74 percent); and personal care and other services (13.36 percent). Meanwhile, the expenditure group that experienced a decrease in its index was clothing and footwear (1.89 percent).
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Bulukumba in December 2025 were 0.31 percent and 2.74 percent, respectively.
